The Tempur-Adapt + Cooling Topper is very nice. I do not feel the cooling effect as much as I thought I would. We also have a Tempur Pedic bed and the topper is a lot softer than the bed. I expected a little more support.

Relieved/improved hip pain overnight

We bought this topper for our mattress after we both started experiencing disrupted sleep due to pressure points/hip pain....on both sides...and we are side sleepers. Since it was both of us, we figured it was a mattress issue (and we have an old mattress) rather than an age issue. Our chiropractor suggested trying a mattress topper before spending the big money for a new mattress. We chose Tempur-Pedic based on reputation and after readling many reviews. I am so happy we did! My hip pain vanished after the first sleep and my husband's hip pain is vastly reduced: it no longer wakes him. I wake up ready to move. Beyond that, I love the feeling of getting into bed at night...the mattress topper feels luxurious. I've already recommended it to friends and family.
