I have an expensive pillow top mattress. But it's too firm & I started having hip pain. I read several topper reviews. I was skeptical about memory foam. I thought it would be squishy & I would have a sinking feeling. I'm happy to say that I it's the perfect solution for hip pain & I absolutely love my topper. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner.

I've bought 2 of these because I've gotten 2 mattresses that suck (guess I don't have good mattress buying skills huh) I bought the previous generation of this topper for a college mattress I'm pretty sure the manufacturer put springs from a car in there, and it fixed the comfort level x1000. The second one (this one) was a gift because I guess I complained so much about how my current mattress is TOO good at cooling (lol) and firm, & how I wanted something that would hold some heat and allow me to get some good sleep after a long workday. This new topper is like the old one where it holds you in place and molds to the shape of your body without making impressions, and helps with heat retention without baking you, and it shut me up in terms of complaining (+for my family). Highly recommend if you have a crappy mattress you wanna take another level.
