Awesome but wish there were sound presets

I have been a fan of JBL for years but for this one I feel like they could have added sound presets and profiles alongside the customizable equalizer feature provided. It would be awesome if I could save two or three sound profiles too. That bit can prove quite hectic for those of us who just want to plug and play. Otherwise, the surround is beautiful especially with r&b and hiphop. It's a 3.8 for me.

No surround sound for anything but Dolby

While Dobly TrueHD plays exceptionally well, the soundbar is unable to play any DTS content and AAC content in 5.1 surround, which means the rear speakers will output all the sound including voices throughtout the film. A lot of content is in DTS and AAC so for that reason alone this soundbar is an absolute fail. I was fooled into buying this soundbar for 800 thinking at least it can play surroudn sound for PCM but it can't. Its a disaster.

Overall it's a great speaker and it's night & day improvement over the original TV speakers. I do wish there was more control or flexibility with the speaker system. The rear speakers do have a seperate volume control but I feel they need more to help balance out the sound in the room.

Loving this setup! Enough bass from the sub to knock things off the wall! Glad it has 5 levels for the sub. lol. The true wireless surround speakers are very easy to use and were easy to set up. Highly recommend this product!

Love the sound

I bought the JBL 800. The sound is very good. however I have two things I do not like and that is the remote does not respond very well with the device even after changing the batteries. The second thing is no light on device to let you know the device is on

Decent but not the best surround sound

The sub and main bar work well, the two side units seem to not get as loud as I had hopes when placing them around the room.
