Perfect fit Great material!

Broil King BBQ covers.

I noticed a consistent negative review of the 68487/67487 particularly in regard to handles. I note that Broil King has responded positively to negative remarks and indicate a follow up . As a consumer who was considering spending the extra dollars for the Broil King cover for my new Baron S490 I am discouraged from doing this. Has Broil King made steps to fix the problem of the manufacture these handles?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good quality at first

We've had Broil King B'bques & covers for close to 30 yrs. The prior cover lasted almost 10 yrs., but purchased the new one for the Imperial less than 2 yrs. ago & it's all cracked & weather worn. It's housed on a covered deck. So needless to say I'm rather disappointed but still enjoy both our gas & propane barbeques.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Quality Handles

I'd recommend my Broil King BBQ forever, great solid product. However I spent quite a bit of money on the cover to ensure it was protected. Went out this evening to pull the cover and clean the grill and the handle popped off in my hand. After reading the reviews, I guess I'm not the only one so that makes it a bit better. We had a bit of a crazy winter so maybe that's what led to this, however I remain disappointed wtih the purchase. The handles made it super easy to cover back up, part of the reason I liked it until now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great BBQ, poor cover

The BBQ itself works very well, stainless steel grills are worth the money. However, as with most other reviews on here, the cover has a poor handle design such that it tears much like the pictures on previous reviews. Might look for an aftermarket cover.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice cover, poor handles

About a year ago, I purchased an awesome Baron 440 grill, and also bought a cover (Broil King 68487 Heavy Duty PVC Polyester Grill Cover) to match. Unfortunately, as I was pulling the grill out from its Winter garage storage and removed the cover, one of the handles just separated (broke off) from the cover.
Seems to be a similar story to many others who have provided reviews here - disappointing, as it is otherwise a fine product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BBQ Handles Problems

Previously posted "comments" under "fst141"and he is my review of #68491 BBQ cover-Left handle broke off and its cracked in 2 places,Now I noticed the Right side handle hanging by threads so this will come off very very soon.Great no handles to help me remove/install this premium heavy cover for a senior. *Looks good covering my Regal490 Pro
