The perfect bookcase

Beautiful solid bookcase, except for the back panels, but that's okay. Very heavy so you will need help putting it together and standing it up right.

A Wonderful Bookcase That Looks Great In Your Home!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. My wife and I agree that the back is rather flimsy. Even with the folding to make it fit in the box, it could be of a thicker wood. It wasn't really very easy to "square" it to the back.
Assembly takes awhile but read the directions! Look at the pictures otherwise you will mess it up.. guaranteed!
Very heavy and came in 2 boxes. Lay everything out including the screws and hardware and it will help in the assembly. Remember that as you are putting this together that the front is down so the right and left sides are reversed. Don't get confused.
Good luck and in the end you will have a beautiful bookcase.
Oh yes... REMEMBER to anchor it to the wall. This is a must as heavy as it is.

Good bookcase with a cheesy back panel.

Advertised as Grundy, but I received a Plycraft. Good quality, better than expected except for the chintzy back panel. It's one of those taped together panels that's already coming apart when you get it. I had to tape mine back together. Overall, the bookcase was easy to put together, just cumbersome because it's so large.

Has potential but haven’t realized it yet

I think I will like it, but I spent many hours trying to put this together without success. I will have to hire someone to help me. Also one of the shelves looks like it’s about to crack.
