Inconsistent internet, does not work with all my devices. The nodes are restarting multiple times a day. My internet access is less consistent now than before with my older system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Gary,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the ZenWiFi and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing connection problems. To resolve the unstable connection, verify if the router’s security settings matches with your ISP’s modem credentials, verify if the PC or device connecting to the router is working properly and within range to the router, the router is within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired with a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Legacy devices may not work properly with WIFI-6e or WIFI-7, check updates for these devices. Also, disable "Smart Connect and connect these manually to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Try resetting the mesh router and reconfigure or set up the devices. Also, we recommend updating the Mesh router firmware if it is running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/us/networking-iot-servers/whole-home-mesh-systems/asus-zenwifi/asus-zenwifi-bt6/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=ASUS-ZenWiFi-BT6.
Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. This router has the best parental controls that don't require a subscription. AI recommended it when i was getting frustrated with my old Orbi. Much happier now.
The installation was uncomplicated on a network with desktop and laptop computers. Half are cable based and half Wi-Fi. There were no major connectivity issues.
This mesh system has solved all of my connection problems, no more dead spots in my house. I am really glad that I went with the three unit system even though my house is only a couple of thousand square feet, it's cinder block and has always suffered from dead spots most likely due to its shape. Plus, now I have reliable wifi coverage in my garage and my driveway. This has become even more important with my new car needing connection for over the air updates. The only thing that I don't absolutely love is the user interface, as I am used to openWRT and its UI. It took me a while to find everything in the settings but that's not unusual.
