My "GO TO" stand alone sewing machine.

As a Brother Educator and quilter, this is my go to….
I love the laser light and move it foot for quilting straight lines on thick quilts.
For thread painting and free motion quilting, I can drop the feed dogs with the touch of a button.
The quilting menu has my favorite binding stitch too. I’ve saved time by applying bindings by machine on quilts, placemats and table runners.
This machine has everything I need…of course the needle threader and thread cutter are a great feature too.

Still have much to learn on this beautiful machine. I really like the MuVit digital dual feed foot! Works so smoothly moving my quilted fabrics through the needle. My local dealer was great to work with, now I need to schedule classes to learn more of the features.

Best all around sewing machine available!

I was considering getting a new sewing machine with definite features, even willing to give up other favorite features if necessary. I never expected to find a machine that had all my needed features as well as my desired ones. It was such a pleasant surprise to meet my new "best friend" that day. With vision issues I have been concerned about having to give up sewing altogether. Fortunately this is no longer the case. This Brother machine comes with all the basic equipment plus more than I even knew about. There is no need to buy a lot of additional accessories. Now I am working hard trying to learn all the features and enjoying every stitch along the way.

Works beautifully for the most part. Automatic threader is temperamental and error messages are not helpful. It keeps saying I need to rethread but that’s not the problem. Other than that, no problem adjusting from my old Bernina. Much easier to use with more bells and whistles.

No regrets!

The BQ3100 is a great machine! It has great features such as the automatic pressure foot lifter, threader and scissors. This machine is very user friendly. There are many features that I haven't tried yet such as the Dual-Feed foot and the V-Sonic Pen but look forward to learning how to use these as well. This is the fourth Brother sewing machine I have purchased. I have been happy with each machine and see no reason to switch to another brand.
