I was using a desktop computer, a gaming computer, that was 15 years old. I had long ago maxed out the 16MB of RAM, and it had become a ball and chain, cycling over and over again, when I was trying to work. So, I bought this motherboard and other components as the foundation of my new computer build. I am not a computer tech guy, but I attempted the build anyway. I finished the build, and powered it up, installed Windows 10, my choice, and added back all of my programs and files. All I can say is WOW! This motherboard has 128 MB RAM capacity. To say if flies, would be an understatement. Thanks, Asus! You Rock!

Finding the right wifi driver can be a chore.

The motherboard itself is a great value. Oddly it setup instantly with all functions working out of the box on a Bazzite Linux install. However when I setup windows 11 it could not find the correct wifi drivers. When I went to the website and downloaded the most recent, tgat did not work either. There are actually about 8 possible wifi drivers for this board as they use whatever is readily available. The information provided with tge board helped narrow the options down to 2 and from there its just trial and error. As for ease of use and functionality, I have no complaints.

Had to have THREE (3) units sent before one worked...none were overnighted, so it took WEEKS to get a new computer set up anf working. Once the motherboard worked, system worked very nice. Guess there was NO quality control.

Easy assembly. Booted 9800x3d out of the box. Support site for drivers worked. System updated chipset and armor crate out of the box after windows 11 install. Gave the option to download and install other system drivers with user permission. BIOS update was straight forward. 3 year warranty.
