This refrigerator came in handy and fits inconspicuously in the corner of our office because our office is growing we ordered this smaller one for excess and it's been wonderful.

This small fridge is only good for storing things, like soda pop, that won't go bad if kept above 40 degrees for extended periods of time. Once the internal temperature reaches the set point, it stops cooling and waits until the internal temperature rises about 10 degrees before starting to cool again. (monitored over two days without opening the door) Since the fridge works by just cooling a plate at the back, the plate can actually freeze and freeze anything in contact with the plate. I'm a bit disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We use this as a garage fridge to hold extras. It's a perfect fridge and keeps things at the ideal temperature, even during the summer when the ambient garage temperature was in the 90's.

The first mini fridge I bought in April 2015 lasted about 4 months. It had a defect and the place I bought it exchanged it for another Danby in August. So far, this fridge is working fine. I hope that the first one was just a fluke but only time will tell. However, the company seems to stand behind their products, which is a good sign that in general their projects are reliable.
