Bought these less than 2 months ago. Haven't been a fan of Sylvania for a while now because they never last, and what do you know, burned out. First one side, then a week later the next. Too expensive for the poor life. Only brand I could find at not so local parts stores. Do better Sylvania! I'll be buying off brands from now on. Why bother with the $$$ of Sylvania if they won't last and leave me with 1 headlight, or worse, NONE going down 2 lane back roads full of deer. Highly disappointed, yet again.

These bulbs barely lasted past a year. Just bought the newer LED ones. Hopefully they will last.

Don't make it past a year!

I have gotten these bulbs from Canadian Tire for my 2017 Ford Escape, they are awful bulbs!! In the past 5 years of having my car I've gone through 4 different sets of these bulbs. None have made it over 12 months without burning out, and the current bulbs I have right now are only 6 months old and just burnt out this week. Awful product! Only good thing is the 12 month warranty!

Reviewing 9005 halogen

What's up with Sylvania not listing specs so us the consumer can make an educated decision. I'm comparing the 9005 Basic Halogen, 9005 Xtra Vision Halogen, 9005 SilverStar Halogen, and the 9005 SilverStar Ultra Halogen. For starters whats the lumen output. Come to find out Sylvania doesn't even give this to their own customer service team. Only way I could get longevity numbers was to call their customer service team. The numbers in the same order as above are 320 hours, 200 hours, 100 hours, and 125 hours. When I asked about color (which should be given in "K" kelvin) I was told the first two are yellow"ish" and the last two are whiter. Wow, isn't that scientific. With this lack of information I might as well buy 2nd tier. NOT impressed Sylvania.

Night and day difference for an older vehicle.

And they're pretty dang good. Way better than my last bulbs. I drive a 1992 Ford Crown Vic and the bulbs were pretty dim. I got these for free from my brother as high beams and the difference is absolutely night and day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bulbs burn out within a few months

Many reviews these bulbs do not hold up 12 months, they have gone out twice within 3 months
