Heats so fast!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cricut easy press mini is a great mini iron for crafting. It makes iron on transfers so easy. The small design makes getting hard to reach areas easier. You can even use it as an emergency iron to get those wrinkles out of the area between buttons and collars. It heats really fast and hot with one heat setting and plus comes with a safety base to rest it in. It’s lightweight so you can take it with you on the go.

Great for smaller projects, but not very ergonomic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cricut Easypress Mini Lt has a nice long lead so you’re not limited as to how far away from the power source you need to be. It has a safety base as well that I find useful so I didn’t burn any surfaces by accident. It doesn’t have an on/off button, you operate it by plugging it in or pulling out the plug, I’d have preferred an on/off button, but it does have a light to indicate if it’s on.
This is fairly small and light so it makes it really good for smaller transfers and to get to the intricate details. I like the pointed front to get into the nooks and crannies of more complicated pieces. The finger hole for holding it is quite small, it took a bit of practice to figure out how to hold it safely, I found that holding it with my middle finger and ring finger through the hole was the best way for me to operate it, but I did find it a little awkward as it wasn’t overly ergonomic.
This is ideal for smaller projects, but I wouldn’t recommend it for larger areas or if you’re going to be using it for hours on end as it wasn’t that comfortable to hold for an extended period of time. For me, this is a great addition as I normally use smaller decals and this works really well for my needs.

Cute little iron

There’s only 1 heat setting but it’s hot enough to remove wrinkles on my clothes, it may require multiple iterations though as the surface area is small. I recommend it for traveling or if your ironing demand is low. In terms of safety it can be improved with an automatically shut-off function and a taller stand. The current stand is quite short and gets really hot when you put the iron there after using.
