I feel that Cricut was very misleading. This is not 12" x 10"; at its center, yes, the depth of the plate is 10". Sadly, it tapers off to 9" on either the right or the left side. This is extremely disappointing, as I purchased this specifically for a 10" x 10" square design. So, I have to move the press to different parts of the design and press again. Ridiculous. Also, I feel that when pressing, the majority of the pressure goes to the center, and not to the top/bottom of the design. So, be careful.

Not worth it- don’t waste your money. The iron works better, and they won’t let you return it. So don’t buy it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've just started embellishing t-shirts with vinyl decals and this iron is great to use for this process. One can set the heat temperatures and duration for each vinyl chosen. The iron covers the decals completely. The iron is completely flat and so adherence from corner to corner is accomplished.
I would recommend this to a friend!
