Great little mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 6-qt KitchenAid stand mixer that I've had since 1978 that still performs perfectly. I got this smaller one for another house and it is equally good. Intuitive, just plug it in and go to work, it's fast and doesn't bog down in potatoes or dough. Probably best to stay with smaller quantities compared to the 6-qt, but still a great machine. Good price, there are a lot of cheapos out there that will just burn up if you decide to make some cookies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheaper design than my previous white hand mixer. Thought it would be an update to my 20+ year old hand mixer and built better - Nope. Your calling this Ultra Power? Don't call this Ultra Power because it's not. It should have a much heavier motor. My older mixer was built better. Same design But cheaper Kitchen Aid. This seems flimsy. Not as good quality , Beater button snags not smooth feels cheap. I bet this isn't going to last 20 years. The old white motor was making noise - so I replaced it. Love the color choices. Never Cut down on Quality. Theres a reason why certain company's stay in business. When you start making it cheap then your company fails. And your out of business. You need a stronger motor. Takes forever to whip whip cream , Ive' done it both ways everything cold or everthing room temp. And it just is missing the motor power even though it's on 5. 5 feels like 2 or 3 speed. 5 should feel like 7 or 8 speed. So If you bought the more expensive version 7 should feel like a 10. No I'm not going to buy the more expensive one unless I get it for free. Then I'll rate it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Hand Mixer!

This was a Christmas gift from my mother and it's the best gift I received this year! The hand mixer is just what I needed and the quality I expected from KitchenAid. It's easy to function and clean and has 5 different speeds.

I bought this to replace the old one... I truly like it , as my husband who is the baker these days. I love the color! I picked something very similar for my new cabinets. Totally 40s! :)
