If you are thinking of buying it just buy it! Love how my hair turns out with this product!! It’s not super heavy or loud so I definitely love that. Less tools to use and the outcome is so good!! Have VS model hair!!

If you’re someone who doesn’t use styling tools often but wants a reliable, all-in-one solution, the Shark Flex Hair Styler might just surprise you. It’s not a plug-and-play tool, though—there’s definitely a learning curve. I was a bit intimidated at first, especially since I’m not one to spend much time on my hair. But once I got the hang of it, the results were impressive.
What I really like is that it simplifies things—whether you’re drying, straightening, or curling, you don’t need a drawer full of gadgets. It does take a few tries to figure out the best settings for your hair type, but after that, it’s smooth sailing. The styler feels solid and well-made, without feeling overly fancy or complicated. Best hair styler to ever exist

When I tell you that I am OBSESSED!! I literally use this hair styler everyday about, I got as a Christmas gift two years ago and it’s by far the best gift I’ve ever received. The performance is great, there are plenty of attachments for different uses. My favorite is the curling attachment, it takes me minutes to blow my hair out once it’s damp. It takes a little bit to get use to and learn how to use but once you get the hang of it it’s super easy to style and use.

Must have in the salon!

As a stylist I really love using this in the salon! The paddle brush presmooths the hair enough before using the airwrap! You want 90% dry cool to touch. If your sections are as big as the barrel it makes it harder to wrap! If you let it cool and not touch your sections until the end you’ll get lasting blowouts!

I have fine, 3a curly hair, and the flex style worked wonders on my hair! It easily smooths my hair and dries my hair very quickly. I can use it as a diffuser, straightener, or curler.
It is pretty loud, but it isn't unbearable to me. I also found it quieter than cheaper blowdryers I've had previously. I haven't noticed any new breakage in the 2 years since using this blowdryer. Definitely a learning curve to style your hair with this, but I recommend watching youtube or tiktok tutorials. The image attached is from my first time using this, I've had even better results since.
Depending on how many parts you have, it can be difficult to transport, but I recommend getting a little carrying case to fix that. I've had mine for almost 2 years, and still works good as new. I love buying new attachments when they come out! Definitely a great investment for your hair.

I’ve owned the Shark Styler for quite a while now, and it remains one of my favorite hair styling tools. What I love about this styler is its versatility—it’s perfect for creating sleek, straight hair as well as voluminous, bouncy curls. With multiple temperature settings, I can easily find the right mode without worrying about damaging my hair. The ceramic plates ensure even heat distribution and protect my hair from drying out, while the styler glides smoothly through my strands.
Another advantage is its convenience: the Shark Styler is lightweight, compact, and the cord doesn’t tangle, making styling much easier. I use it almost daily, and I’ve never had any issues with heating or performance. It’s definitely worth the price and stands as a great alternative to more expensive brands. Overall, it's one of the best stylers I’ve ever tried, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality and reliable hair styling tool!
Additionally, I had the opportunity to test the Shark Styler alongside the Dyson for about a month, and I decided to keep the Shark Styler. It turned out to be just as effective and, in some ways, even better, especially considering the price-to-quality ratio. I found that Shark handled styling faster and was more convenient for my daily routine.

Love it! Works so good!

Dries hair FAST, I have very fine hair but a LOT of it, and this dried my hair in maybe half the time of a regular dryer
- I dried my hair on the next to lowest heat setting- it didn’t burn my head at all but was still very effective at drying
- I used the curling rods (comes with 2, one for left side and one for right side of head) and was pretty pleased with how easy they were to figure out

See attached photos- for context, I used no products in my hair to combat frizz or add volume, etc. Had just washed my hair and was excited to test this out. Blow dried my hair until it was about 85% dry, and then grabbed a few sections to test the curling rods. I literally half-added this and only curled a small number of sections in my hair, so just know that if you spend more than literally 6 minutes curling your hair with this, I think it’ll look ten times as good.
This thing isn’t too heavy, and the attachments are very easy to switch out (they do have a locking mechanism so they don’t fall out while you’re using them). A lot of people have commented on the volume, but honestly- it doesn’t sound any louder to me than a typical blow dryer? The noise is slightly more high pitched than a normal dryer, so maybe that’s what people don’t like, but after 5 seconds of using it the sound literally became white noise to me. Honestly, I think it’s quieter than most hotel dryers.
My one complaint isn’t really a complaint, I just didn’t read and realize that there’s a different curling wand for each side of the head. So you’ll basically curl one side of your head, then swap out the rod and curl the other side. I kind of wish it was just one rod to do the whole head, but with how they’re designed that wouldn’t work (unless you didn’t care about which way the curls face.) Each rod is clearly marked on the end with an L or an R so there’s no guesswork.
