I absolutely love my Shark Flex Style. I got a great deal during the Black Friday promotion. This tool is so easy to use and it has massively simplified my hair routine, saving time and looking better than I could do myself.

So good even for thick hair

I have extremely thick, long, type 2b hair that is hard to manage and style. This hair tool is excellent. The blow dryer alone is worth it but in 45 minutes I can go from straight out of the shower to salon perfect hair (which is a great timeline for the thick hair girlies). There’s a learning curve involved and watching tutorials and practicing are definitely key, as is using the right product. With experimentation and practice to find what works well for your hair specifically, this product is well worth it.

Not a hero hair tool.

As a licensed cosmetologist I purchased about 3 months ago for personal use. The attachments feel flimsy. The area of hair this dries vs other dryers is about half of the normal coverage area. I have tried very hard to love this, but it’s not easy to use, hard to switch barrels mid drying/styling I originally bought this to replace several tools, but it doesn’t do the job I’d hoped and extends my time to get ready. Doesn’t even work efficiently for me as simply a hairdryer.

No heat damage, and my hair looks amazing!

I've always heard good things about this system and finally took the plunge and got one. I'm amazed. My hair has never looked better. The attachments are super easy to use, take on and off, and are super versatile. My hair can look amazing and I feel so good doing so without damaging it. I seriously love this system!

Love it but it didn’t last

I purchased this in March/April 2023 and I loved it BUT it stopped working in November 2024. I’d cleaned the filter often and it still didn’t work. A lot of money spent for 18+ months.

Strong blowndryer.

Overall, I really like this dryer. I have curly, thick, frizzy hair and this allows me to dry it to straight. It’s not as smooth as a flat iron, but I don’t expect it to be as it’s a hair dryer. I haven’t played much with the curling wands yet. It takes about 8 minutes for me to go from damp to dry and generally pretty straight. Make sure to clean out the lint trap frequently!

I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my sister and we were both shocked with the results. It looked like we hand just left the salon and got blow outs. This products is amazing and I would highly recommended it. Not complicated to use very straight forward.

Curls don’t last

I bought this a month ago and was so excited to use it. I have long straight hair however and the product didn’t work for me. It does dry your hair quick but the curls wouldn’t last me 5 minutes after trying multiple techniques: wet/dry hair, mousse, hairspray, etc. I will be returning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
