I bought this product over a month ago, took several weeks to receive. I have used it a couple times and have decided to return the Air Drying system. It's awkward to use, the curling feature is not very effective for my hair and needed to change the attachments depending on which side of your hair you are curling is not convenient. The drying feature leaves my hair frizzy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few months again and wanted to use it a few times before I reviewed it. This does not fit my hair type (thin). It is bulky and kinda of heavy to use. Watch the settings when using the dryer because the meduim and high to get hot. The brush is so/so. The curl wands blows your hair and makes it kinda of hard to get your hair wrapped around at first and when you do get it to curl moving on to the next section the wand blows the curl I have done and looses the curl. This also gets very hot. Over all not happy with the purchase and wishes I would have returned it. Expecially how much it cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark FlexStyle Air Drying & Styling System is AMAZING! It is so easy to use and gets the job done quickly. It does it all- dries, straightens, curls and volumizes. I have frizzy hair but since I started using this my hair is so much softer and smoother. I love it!

Had high expectations

I bought this after wanting the dyson but not wanting to pay that much, I have long straight hair, after many videos I decided to give this a go mainly for the curling option while it did curl decently once I got to the other side of my head the curls were gone completely! Needless to say I returned it. I’m sure this would work for some with texture hair but not pin straight like mine! Loved the drier and everything else about it though!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Diffuser was the surprise star

I got this styler for Christmas and overall I would say it is a mixed bag. Originally I thought I would love the curler and round brush attachments, but those left me wanting more. The curls don’t last and the round brush just creates frizz on me. It is especially bad for styling short layers and bangs. HOWEVER I have naturally curly 2C-3B hair and was blown away at the diffuser attachment. The adjustable fingers help to control how much air and lift gets to the root, and the temperature/airflow settings were just right for making amazing ringlets. I have never gotten more compliments on my curly hair since using. With all that said I am keeping, but for the diffuser only.

Good as a blow dryer

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and even though I’m satisfied the way it blow drying my hair with a large brush, the curling rods don’t work well for me. I’m very good with styling my hair, they’re shoulder length now, the diameter of the rods is too big to create waves. I feel it would work for someone with very long hair. The curl also don’t stay. I wish the rods would come in regular 1 inch size. So half of the attachments are waist of money for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the MONEY

I bought this and i had very HIGH hopes considering the fact that everyone said its better than the dyson airwrap. It’s not. First of all, this flexstyle doesnt hold its curls no matter what. I tried it on straight and curly hair and after a few minutes the curls start looking loose and they fall out. Secondly, it won’t work if you FLAT IRON your hair FIRST. So ladies if you have really curly hair and you want to flat iron it first and then use the curls, IT WONT WORK for some reason.

Subpar, did not meet expectations

I bought this system at the beginning of January, and it took about a month to receive. I was anxiously awaiting it, to be very disappointed. The actual blow dryer seems good, drying my hair fairly quickly, but the attachments are just ok. Especially the auto wrap curlers (what I was most excited to try). My hair typically holds curls very well (with a curling iron), which you’d think would be even better as you’re drying your hair with a curl, but the curls did not hold at all, and I wouldn’t consider them “curls” or even beach waves, definitely nothing like what is portrayed in the videos/pics. Overall, not happy with the purchase at all, and would have rather spent the money on a more “basic” hair dryer.
