I'm so happy with my purchase. It works great as a stand alone blow dryer and the styling tools are the icing on the cake. I can style my hair in just under 10 minutes and it looks good or I can take my time with the curling barrels. My hair can last up to two days with the barrels (no product) I found the trick was to heat the curl, hit it with the cooling, and turn the device off when pulling out just like Shark recommends. Its such a great value, I had my eye on a blow dryer and a separate blow dryer with a brush but this all in one just blows all that out of the water.

I tried something similar from another brand and I will say the results are VERY similar, the Shark is a much better value. I do wish there were a more “round brush” head and longer curling barrels. My hair is a few inches below my shoulders and the curling barrels couldn’t hold it all on. The curls fell really quickly and looked just sad after 6 hours. (They did with the other brand as well though). The result with the round brush was very sleek and left my hair looking very shiny. But i couldn’t get much volume at the root because the brush is too large and can’t get close enough. Also, I know this claims to reduce heat damage but I don’t know. It gets HOTTTT. Definitely hotter than the other brand so I felt like it was more damaging, but the airflow was much stronger so the trade off is that the time spent applying heat was less. The option to rotate the head is great and makes it a lot easier when blow drying. However the tool is fairly large and hard to hold otherwise and the buttons are in a REALLY inconvenient place. You can’t hit the buttons without holding the tool with both hands.
Overall a great tool. I’d love to see shark release more options for attachments. If you’re trying to reduce heat damage i don’t know if this is it.

Purchased 2-3weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. I was planning on purchasing the Dyson but then this came along and I’m so glad it did. I’m a black woman with 4a/4b hair and this dryer does it all, from simply just drying to giving full on Dominican blowout vibes. Works even better on my yaki texturized clip ins.

This is the best hair dryer I’ve ever used, and works so much faster than ones I’ve had in the past. I discovered the product on tiktok, and when I learned it was a fraction of the cost of the dyson system, it was totally worth it to me to spend the money on it! I love the heat and fan power options. There’s definitely a learning curve to using the styling attachments. Also, I selected one brush attachment from the “build your own” option in the site, and both came included in my package, so that was a bonus!

I never write reviews, ever. With that said, since using the Shark FlexStyle, I have received DAILY compliments on my hair. I have personally convinced over 5 friends and families to purchase this styler, to the point that I feel Shark should throw me an affiliate link or a sponsorship. That is all to say that this blow dryer has completely changed my life and my personal hair game...so much so that I must share it with everyone I know. I think this works really well and is similar to the dyson. The only issue is that the cord and the stick itself and attachments are so much heavier, bigger, and clunkier than the dyson. The cord itself has a giant box on it and is super long and thick. The dryer is kinda heavy compared to dyson and uncomfortably long with the attachment heads on.
