Blows away expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is truly the only hair appliance you will need. It does everything! The first time I tried it I decided to use it as a blow dryer first - without expecting it to work well since it is so sleek. It is so sleek and thin, but you just rotate the tip down to turn it into an upside down “L” dryer shape. I could not believe how quickly it dried my hair! I have very thick, coarse, semi-curly but mostly just frizzy hair and it usually takes forever to dry and style. Then I switched to the paddle to see how it did with straightening and this was another pleasant surprise. So by now my hair was mostly dry, more than the 80-90% recommended for using the curling wands but I was excited to try them so decided to proceed anyway. When I tell you I was BLOWN AWAY by how well they worked! I have never not used a straightening iron/curling iron on my hair. I thought this might give me some waves that I’d probably have to go over again with my curling iron to get rid of the frizz. Instead I got beautiful, shiny, bouncy curls! I am SHOOKETH. This is so far beyond what I was expecting. Plus it is sleek and gorgeous, and will be perfect for travel. This is amazing, I highly recommend!!

I was so excited for this product, but after trying over and over to try and get it to work, I’m giving up and returning it. It doesn’t seem to really try my hair. By the time im done styling it’s flat in 5 minutes and still feels damp. The regular dryer attatchment isn’t very powerful and takes forever to dry my hair. I’m so sad and disappointed. I was looking forward to this product for awhile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great quality BUT STYLER TOOLS TOO BIG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a neat product. It is definitely well made and of great quality. The hair dryer is wonderful and really does dry hair super fast. It has all the essentials, with three settings available for heat, as well as, three settings for the air flow. It also has my favorite button I must have on a hair dryer and that's the cool blast button. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the rotating styler tools to work. I think because I could not get the auto sensor to engage my hair. I have a chin length bob and so the round brush and curling attachments were just TOO BIG. I wish (hope) they would design or offer smaller tools that I could purchase separately.

I was so excited for this to avoid excessive heat styling since I just got my thick tight/ringlet curls back to a healthy place. Unfortunately, this did not fit the bill. (I did not use the diffuser, bought this for straightening.) Took a long time to dry and even when it did I had lots of frizz. Also the curls fell in less than 10 minutes. I went out that evening (in cold New England weather) and I could *feel* my hair frizzing even more. The product is cool, pretty easy to figure out, but the performance might be better suited for hair without thick texture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has to be the most overrated, frustrating, difficult hair tool I've ever used. They make no mention of what length of hair works and what length doesn't, so, the buyer assumes it will work for shoulder length hair. It doesn't. It never worked right for me as the curling tool blew my hair AWAY from the curler and would not draw the hair to the curler so it could wrap around it. It was awkward to use, uncomfortable and it took me about 20 min. to make one, sub-standard curl. A complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend this product. "If" the reason it didn't work was due to the length of my hair (shoulder length blunt bob,) they need to state this on their advertisements and on the pictures and photos on the packaging and in the owners manual. And, maybe mine was defective as it never sucked the hair around the curler attachments, just blew it away from the curlers.

I purchased the flex style having high hopes for it. Let’s just say that I was highly disappointed when it came to how my hair looked after using it. Curls only lasted for a mere 5 minutes. The straight brush didn’t smooth out my hair. The round brush make my hair frizzy. I decided to return it.

All In One Hair Care System!!!

I just purchases the Shark FlexStyle Hair Care System I am very pleased with it. I own the competitors hair care system. I find the Shark system to be more versatile. The fact that it has a diffuser attachment is a plus. It is lightweight yet powerful. The brushes grab the hair but does not hurt your scalp. I can use all of the attachments where the other system I was not able to. Also the fact that it bends makes it like a regular hair dryer. The curling wands also work with great efficiency. I do think that Shark should make attachments for shorter hair. Although I can use the round brush, I do find it to be a little too big for me. I am hoping in the future more attachments will be coming. Best of all it is half the price of the other haircare system!!! Not only do you get a versatile styling system, but you get it at an affordable price!!
