Buyer beware

Worked well until it didn’t. Aside from a minor design flaw which allows hair to get caught between the attachment and body, it was overall working fine. Now it turns off within 60-90 seconds with a flashing red light. Infuriating to spend this much on an item and have it last less than a year before it stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attachments don’t stay attached.

I was gifted this tool a little while ago and was happy with it until recently. My favorite attachment is the brush like one and it does NOT stay attached. I spend more time reattaching it then I do actually doing my hair. It is very very inconvenient as it falls off with every section of hair I do. I lock it in place and everything and doesn’t stay.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth it.

I’ve had it less than 2 years and rarely use it. Lint trap needs to be cleaned every five minute of use or else it shuts off even when there is no lint. Now the heat is completely gone. Blows no hot hair. For a product this expensive should have lasted way longer.

New Brush Requires

Hi - I love the hair dryer and accessories, but the round brush and oval brush are far too rough to be able to do a blow out. Compared to the Dyson, it does a much worse blow out because the bristles are much harder and latch onto your hair harder. I’d keep purchasing if you make a softer bristle round brush like the Dyson one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stops working after 2 years, get the Dyson

DO NOT BUY YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY, mine stopped working only after 2 years, it turns off every 2 seconds and you have to wait a while for it to turn back on. Just buy the Dyson, you will end up spending more money if you buy one of these just to end up buying another one once it stops working.

Broken after a few years

Received this as a Christmas gift a 2-3 of years ago and it repeatedly turns off when I try to use the heat function. It only works when it is on the cold setting now. Followed the basic care instructions for any hairstyling tool and did my best to not fold the cord too much but pretty frustrating overall.

I bought mine 15 months ago and have loved it! However, it did suddenly stop working, but when I called support, Aaliyah was super helpful and made the process so easy! She registered my product for me to find out it was still covered under the manufacturer 2 year warranty. She has a new one on its way to me! Thank you so much Shark Support Team!
