I bought this a month ago and I have used it a few times. I am very disappointed. This carpet shampooed has no suction and my carpets are soaked. Will be returning.

Great product, Hard to get refills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is absolutely amazing, but the shampoo refills are hard to purchase and are expensive. They are unavailable in stores, and only available online. Other than that, a great product

Requires Acclimation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying this carpet cleaner so far. Definitely requires some getting use to the operation being so different from my previous carpet cleaners. This model automatically sprays the solution when in the forward motion (unless the mode is changed). Personally I’m used to having to pull the trigger to have the solution spray. I am still working on not over saturating the area. Love the ease of removing, emptying, and cleaning the dirty tank. My only complaints are that the hose for the hand held constantly falls off the holder and the upright suction is not nearly as powerful than the handheld. Highly recommend vacuuming throughly before using, because it pulls everything that you miss and clumps up on the floor. Bleh.

Decent stain removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this carpet cleaner is fine. I mainly tested it on white carpet where we had a lot of stains from dinner parties and other miscellaneous spots. The cleaner did a good job at lessening the effect but it didn’t total get rid of all of the stains. I followed the instructions for adding the soaps but maybe it needed extra. The small detail brush is the best for really getting in there. It was very satisfying and disgusting to see how gross and grimy the water it sucked up from the carpet.

Awesome cleaner and lightweight to boot!!

I have a Bissell, and I thought it was doing a good job. But because I had back surgery, I needed something that was lighter, not so heavy. Boy did I have a good idea. This cleaner is absolutely wonderful. I’ve never used a cleaner that once the carpet dried I didn’t have to go back and re-clean areas with worse than normal stains. This cleaner is absolutely wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great carpet cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Shark carpetxpert EX200 with stainstriker, 2 in 1 deep carpet cleaner and spot removal. I was very happy with how easy this was to use and how well it cleaned. I was a little grossed out when I saw how dirty the water was in the tank, but Im glad I know its clean now. Great clean scent afterwards.

Gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark CarpetXpert is easy to use and works wonders on stains! The dog had an accident on the rug a few weeks ago and this made the rug look new as though nothing happened. I mean look at the photo of what else it got out! While it did a good job my only complaint is that it leaked some water on set up and is heavy. Other than that, this deep cleaner is great!

Cleans awesome/ small water tanks, exhausting

Does an awesome job cleaning and sucking up the water but the water tanks are so small you are constantly stopping to empty the dirty water and refill the water & solution tank. You have no control of the water which I really don’t like. It’s a work out to clean a room. Not meant for an entire house carpet cleaning. For a tiny room maybe. It does clean better than any shampooer I’ve owned but it takes triple the amount of work & time. Very easy to clean up the machine when finished. No belts to worry about breaking which is awesome. You waste a lot of the water/solution because you have no control of it. You have to constantly switch between modes so you can move the machine just to do another pass of suction and no water. It’s exhausting! The solution bottle is so freaking small. You will need too many to clean a house. Ridiculous! I’m not sure it’s worth all the hassle
