I purchased this item because I was having a lot of allergy issues. Hopefully after a few rounds of cleaning I will have them under control. Very easy to use and clean.

I love my new Shark CarpetXpert with stainstriker carpet cleaner! I cleaned my area rugs and they look new again! So easy to use and easy to clean also. I reccommend this for anyone who usually rents a machine or has pets. So awesome! Also you can pay it out if you need to which is a game changer for those on a strict budget.

CARPET SHAMPOO MACHINE
on December 31, 2023
Posted by: BARBIE
it cleaned good but didnt pick up the water very well and then when i went to empty it the bottom came off and dirty water all over the carpet. even the demonstrator said he would wait to buy it til its perfected better. I like the no brushes and hope I can get it together right as the inside came loose when i went to empty it. If I WOULD HAVE KEPT THE BOX i WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT I HAVE THE VACUMN AND LOVE IT AND THATS WHY I GOT THE SHAMPOOER

Came within a few days of ordering. I put it to the test right away. I am so happy with all of my shark projects as of now I have shampooed my stairs, sons room, my room, my mattress, my basement and my rugs. I only have my office left and I have done everything in two weeks. If your looking for something that really works get you a shark.

If a teenager noticed the clean carpet it works.

I was impressed by the infomercial for this so made the purchase. It arrived quickly. The set up was fairly easy. I'm not impressed with the hose anchor. I don't see that being to efficient over time. On first use I used the striker to clean an area of my carpet where my dog always vomits. I have used regular stain carpet cleaner on this area every time she would throw up but stains never came completely out. With the striker/hose I was able to get the stains out almost completely. You really have to look to seem them now. My next attempt was my daughters 12x12 bedroom carpet. This is carpet that was in the house when we bought it 6 years ago. Therefore this is a very old carpet. I'm almost sure it must be over 20 years old....lol.. just by the style/pattern. The carpetXpert did a nice job on cleaning this carpet. Not to brand new looking but the age of the carpet and any machine probably would never make it brand new. But my daughter could tell immediately when she came home that it had be cleaned. And what teenager would notice such a thing.....lol unless it was very visible.
For the machine. It has three tanks, the two upper tanks are for cleaning solution. The smaller on the front is straight striker solution and the the larger is mixture of water and carpet solution. The dirty water tank is the lower tank. I think the tanks should be bigger especially the dirty water tank. I had to empty it twice while doing my daughters bedroom.
I do like that I can go from floor cleaning to striker/hose cleaning stains with the flick of a switch, and not having to take the time to attach the hose each time.
I love that it has the drying feature to help with getting the most water out of the carpet to allow it to dry in 3-4 hours.
I like that the quick reference options are right on the machine as a reminder.
I like that it is easy to clean and remove the parts to clean.

One thing I would change is the hose holder at the top back as it doesn't seem to hold the hose well. There should be the same clips as you got on the sides.
So far i"m very impressed with the Shark CarpetXpert and hope to get many years out of it.

A Great Cleaner ata Very Good Price

I bought this cleaner about two weeks ago. I had an 8 x 10 rug cleaned some months ago and when the cleaner asked how I liked his wo4rk, I said the rug was still dirty. He told me if he cleaned it any more, it would show the back of the rug. My mother had a rug cleaner 50 years ago it it seemed like a struggle but I bought this one after I saw the ad and read some of the reviews. I started cleaning my rug. Below I will show the dirty water it picked up after 2 tanks of water and solution The rug was just dirty. This cleaner was easy to use and I love how Shark makes all it products so you can take apart the pieces and put them together. It was GREAT!!! Sorry I couldn't add the photo.
