Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far one of the better carpet cleaners that I have used. Extremely easy to set up and begin using. The high pressure spray allows to get deep into the carpet to eliminate the toughest stains. The handheld attachment simplifies getting into harder to reach areas like steps. Also, the quick drying time is great! All in all, this is a great product that should not be passed up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a huge golden retriever and 2 kids all of which bring in dirt and mess to our house. Our basement is carpeted and we have several area rugs that need to be cleaned frequently. This does the job quickly and efficiently. Looks like professionally cleaned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other vacuum brands in the past and Shark is by far the best. Shark is the best quality and sturdy. I have a dog and this vacuum does a great job with cleaning up dog hair especially out of of the carpet.

Wow, an incredible cleaning machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to give this Shark CarpetXpert™ with Stainstriker™ Carpet Cleaner a try because we have a Shark vacuum cleaner and have been very happy with the quality and durability. We had just rented a carpet cleaner from a local store and we were very disappointed. It didn't clean well and pet stains were left behind. This was a great opportunity to test the Shark and it couldn't have gone better. It was easy to set up and use, and together with the wand for small areas and the stairs, it cleaned every stain. We went over the carpet we had just cleaned with the rental unit and couldn't believe how dirty the water was. This is a very effective cleaning machine and I highly recommend it!

Good Tool Overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a good tool, but it has pros and cons.
Cons: It has two different kinds of fluid — a cleaning concentrate and a cleaning booster. By itself, that’s OK, but unlike other steam vacs, you have to dump the concentrate out of your warm water container. With other steam vacs, there isn’t the booster, but the cleaner fluid is in a separate container. So you go through less cleaner because you don’t dump it out with the water. It’s a little also awkward. All steam vacs are a bit heavy, but I have never had my back get sore using one before using this Shark for 20 minutes.
Pros: It has a dry mode, which seems to do a better job sucking up water than similar steam vacs. This makes drying quicker. The upside of the separate cleaning booster is that it does a notably good job on basic mud and dirt stains. I had one deeper stain that I had been treating, and it didn’t seem to handle that very well. My previous carpet cleaner hadn’t done a good job either, so the Shark isn’t any better or worse than my old Hoover.
Overall, it’s a good tool and might be a slight upgrade for simple spots and stains compared to other steam vacs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a loyal Shark customer, this carpet cleaner has truly exceeded my expectations (and they were high to begin with!). Being a dog owner and parent, you can imagine the messes that have accumulated on our carpets, from muddy paws to accidental spills. The CarpetXpert have effectively resolved our stains of the past and I feel armed for anything that may arise in the future. The cleaning solutions provided (OxyMultiplier stain cleaner & Deep Clean concentrate) smell AMAZING. Not only am I pleased with the results, the clean citrus scent that lingers is so satisfying. I have never enjoyed the scent of solutions in the past but I promise you, Shark nailed it. You will love this carpet cleaner, the results and the cleaning solutions! I cannot wait to use the handheld cleaner in my car next. Thank you, Shark, for checking every single box when creating this carpet cleaner. WELL DONE!
