Great HomeBase, but Built-In Storage Is Limited

Overall, I’m very happy with the HomeBase 3. It works great with my eufy cameras, the setup was easy, and I really like the AI features and local storage. My only complaint is that the built-in 16GB storage is very limited, so I wish eufy included more storage out of the box. Other than that, everything has been working very well.

I brought the current Home S380 to replace one that just stopped working no matter what I did it simply blinked red! Unfortunately support was less than helpful! Of course once these are outside of the warranty period good luck with getting help! So when it’s worthy, it works fine, but it seems interesting that you couldn’t go back to the older homebase and the only other option was to go up higher to the more professional homebase. They kind of stuck if a product stops working and it’s kind of the essential portion of the entire surveillance and camera system. The warranty should be more than just one year for something that deals with such complex equipment.

Home Base gave us a little more range on our camera, and, of course, it gave us a lot more memory. Our camera doesn't always pick up our vehicle returning home though!

I purchased the HomeBase in hopes I would be able to view video footage faster. Prior to the Base, I was limited the the download speed of the remote camera. Now all the video is archived directly to the Homebase allowing instant access to the videos. I was concerned the HomeBase would not be able to reach all the camera's, but it works great even with camera's mounted 200+ feet from the base. Very pleased!
