Poor quality control for a "premium" product.

Baught the watch to replace my dying Mk1. And what a good timing receiving the new watch for my Birthday ! I was pretty impatient to handel the new model but on opening I just notice during watch configuration a dead pixel in the center of the screen. A bright green dot always on :(. Hopefully Garmin will replace this new device, but for the price I'm disapointed about the quality control of the device. Could be improved. So disapointed for the delay, but the improvement from Mk1 is undeniable.
The MK3i is easy to use, easy to see and covers all the bases. Though my primary use for it is diving, it is also my daily wear fitness watch for all my other activities. As an active instructor, and technical dive instructor, i heartily recommend the Mk3I to my students at all levels. From 30 feet to 330 feet the Mk3i is a solid and critical part of my dive kit!
When it comes to Dive computer, what can I say other than it is top of the line. I think my only frustration as a person that owns multiple Garmin watches. My Epix and Fenix 8 Share data back-and-forth perfectly. Mostly speaking about body battery. And sleep metrics. Unfortunately, I have tried everything and can’t get the MK 3I to do the same. What a shame. Hopefully this can be fixed in an update.
I just recently purchased this watch. My previous Garmin was a Garmin Tactix 8. Another fine watch but I needed a watch that I can take with me scuba diving. Haven’t used that function yet but, the rest of the watch is amazing I received several positive comments about it while I’m out and about. Easy to use, and it looks great. Thank you
Super powerful device! Much more full featured than I even expected! So much relevant important outdoor data whether it’s tides, elevation, diving depth, etc., and NO Subscription. Love it! The map is incredibly clear and easy to read even for my 62-year-old eyes. Yes, it’s pricey But you get what you pay for.
