It is my second presto skillet. I can cook almost anything, easy to clean, and I use it for most of my cooking, saving money by just not to have to turn on the stove for a small cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent product that outlasts the competitors. I've tried other skillets from other manufacturers, nearly all with ceramic coatings. The non-stick coating in this skillet lasts much longer than others I've had the misfortune of trying (regardless of what claims are made about the longevity of ceramic coatings) and its well-made and simple to assemble. I've been using this model almost daily for years, and I'm here reviewing before purchasing another.

Perfect 12" size works for most uses. Has a pretty resilient no stick coating that stands up to some occasional use of metal cooking tools. Cleans up easilly. Temperature control works consistently, and element provides even heat across entire surface. Sturdy built, including the glass cover. No heat transfer to the handles.

I previously purchased a 16" collapsible model and love it; but it was too large for my area and for cooking for only one person. So I purchased the 12" equivalent...no comparison. The 12" is very light, which might be an advantage, but no rubber feet like the 16" , and thus it slides all over the place...maybe dangerous for some. Otherwise it seems to have th same great non-stick coating and a nice lid. Too bad they cant make slide on feet for this skillet and send them to purchasers. I'll try putting a rubbeized material under it and hopefully it doesn't melt or catch on fire.

Thank you for your review. We will share your concerns with our design team. If you choose to add a pad underneath the skillet, make sure it is heat resistant.

owned 07117 12" for years- only got on this site to see what temperature to make spaghetti at(the only thing I've never made in it probably because I was worried it might come out the poor spout-which I think was a great addition over my last seven or eight electric skillets! since my wife died I don't cook much volume -love the way it heats, lighter than my 8 inch frying pan (which I don't use anymore !!), cleans up excellent andthe skillet cooks perfectly even at all temps and with everything I cook. Couldn't find what setting to try spaghetti at because I normally did that from scratch in one of my large pots & froze several meals. will call the # listed during business hours & ask tomorrow.

Thank you for the pictures. We recommend using a baking soda paste and nylon scrub brush or pad to clean the affected area. (repeat as needed) If you are using a non-stick spray oil, you should refrain from doing so going forward. That can leave a tacky build-up over time. If this does not resolve the issue, please call us so we can help you further. Call 1-800-877-0441. Our reps are available 8-4 CT, weekdays.
