A mixed bag

The magnet is good, strong enough and I like the size - but you can't have a case on the phone which I need as I drop the phone often enough. I was disappointed that the center black part that pops out is a very thin plastic, although strong enough to get the job done. The space for fingers is very tight for me, not comfortable or large enough. I have to wedge my finger or fingers in. It is uncomfortable. So this design does not work for me.

I missed the old/original version, it was lighter and had the satisfied click when close, this new one it is heavier, not the same feeling in my opinion.

Great utility, coating lacks durability

I love the functionality of this. The magnet strength surprised me, while also being relatively easy to remove when intended. The only thing that I can complain about is the durability of the color coating on the black. After 2 days of normal use, nothing aggressive or abusive, and I already have scratches on the outer ring.

As a regular gym go-er I was tired of tossing my phone on the floor during sets. Now I can stick my phone to any machine (that has metal). This is perfect for the gym, at home when I’m cooking and can stick my phone to the fridge. The ring is thin and doesn’t get caught in my pockets like my old loop used to. 10/10 just buy it 🤙🏻🩷

Not for me

This will probably work for someone. It’s very thin and light so that part is working well. But the finger slips are too fiddly for me, and they bend too easily when trying to put it back away. Takes too long to get my finger in and out of position before I want to change it. Not especially ergonomic. Suddenly pop socket seems genius— I’m going back to that.

I love the idea of OhSnap! Grip and with the great reviews I felt confident this was the grip for me. Unfortunately, despite the price, this grip does not live up to expectations. It is very slim which at first seems nice but the mechanics all feel very flimsy. You absolutely need to use both hands to open the grip or risk dropping the phone. Putting the kickstand into place was not as easy as it seemed and the first time I used it, it wasn’t fully locked into place (I feared I’d break it if I pushed any further) and the phone fell down because the kickstand gave out and broke the protective covering glass on my camera. The grip does not always snap back into place despite double checking to make sure the arms are not out it position. The magnet seems weak, when I put the phone on my car mount it’s fallen a few times. And what’s more, the phone does not charge through the grip. I have to remove the grip every time despite claims to the contrary. For the price point I could have gotten something else that was easier to navigate one handed. I don’t recommend.

It was great till it broke... Dropped my phone and the grip fell off my phone and got stuck to something else then wouldn’t come off.

I've been using PopSockets for years, and they have served me very well. The Snap Grip is fiddlier, but it's only been two or three days. I love its versatility -- using one finger or two -- though the one-finger option feels a little scratchy, especially since I have arthritis on some fingers. The kickstand feature is excellent! That never really worked on the PopSocket. Also, I wish I'd positioned it a little differently on my case -- just a little bit higher -- but since I had to use the non-magnetic adapter, which is with glue, I guess I can't move it. Right?I do feel like it's not very sturdy, but time will tell.
