[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid Corded Hand Blender. I sent my first one with my son to college and bought this as my replacement. I find the “blending arm” on this version to be much more difficult to unscrew/separate from the “motor body”. Tonight I nearly spilled everything I had just blended because I was using such force when trying to separate. It locks into place turning right and left at times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had Kitchen Aid products for many years, I came to view them as exemplary products. This immersion blender fails to meet my expectations. It has only one speed, instead of two speeds; and most disconcerting is the annoying, high pitched squealing sound of the motor.

Just what I needed!

This hand blender does everything! I wasn't sure we would use all of the accessories, but in a month we've used every single one multiple times. The hand blender is perfect for quick, individual smoothies. We've also used it to whip up an egg mixture for quiche, chop veggies for salsa, and purée soup and homemade refried beans. This handy appliance gets used multiple times a week in our kitchen and isn't going to be stashed in the back of the cupboard.

Terrible quality the metal whispers broker on the second used. I buy this brand because my last one was more thank 10 years and good quality. This one is poorly made all plastic.
