I like the ease of the thermostat but not being able to connect to a remote sensor is a problem. The thermostat sits in a hallway and my room has a set of French doors and two windows. Without a remote sensor it does not detect the correct temp in my room, therefore it is either warmer or cooler than it should be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

T6 Thermostat design not well thought through

One of the option in Mode should be both heat/cold as needed for the set point. Currently, I have change the mode as the outside gets hot in daytime or cold in the night for the same inside temperature.
