I have two of these units on upstairs and another downstairs. The downstairs one works great, however the upstairs unit constantly loses wifi connection, even though it is much closer to the router/ap. I have gone through about 3 different wifi router also tried to split the different frequencies into different networks 2.4 and 5 ghz keeping the iot devices on 2.4 but still no luck. I't love to be able to use this to its fullest potential but I have just about given up on that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
