Won’t connect to app to control from phone, has to reset to the WiFi if the power goes out

Resideo app forces account creation + internet usage (why not LAN like apple home?) and blocks vpns + has an awfully designed interface for scheduling.

I really miss the motion sensor option from the Nest unit that lights up Blue when the A/C is running when you walk by. This unit was installed as part of a new A/C installation and will put the Nest unit back on.
