Works fine, but VERY expensive!

These filters are difficult to fine in stores because of their size. The cost is way more than other size filters, and I fail to see why because they are basically paper and a wire mesh construction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I DON'T BUY ANY OTHER FILTER. I HAVEN'T FOUND ANOTHER FILTER THAT WORKS AS WELL AS THIS ONE. SINCE I SUFFER FROM ALLERGIES, THIS FILTER MAKES IT EASIER TO TOLERATE IT. MY EYES DON'T ITCH ANYMORE.

Help for an old house

Our house is more than a century old (built in 1888). Dust particles were magnified in the light that streamed through the over-sized windows. Filtrete filters have given us new appreciation for floor to ceiling sunlight.

I have used Filtrete filters for years! The 4" filter fits inside the frame of a disconnected electronic filter system that was always problematic. Filtrete filters perform better than the electronic system ever did and provide a superior return on my investment.

I don't have many brand options for this product because of it's configuration. Fortunately, Filtrete makes one and I've had great success for years with Filtrete air filters.

Even if you don't run or have a whole house fan unit buying the 12x12 is a great way to a cheap air filter. Just tape a 12x12 Filtrete onto the back of a box fan and you're good to go!
