Enamel on dough hook is chipping.

It's not as fabulous as I expected. I've been making bread. The enamel on the dough hook is already chipping. That can't be a good to ingest. The mixer "jumps" a bit while the bread dough is mixing. It's sourdough and is minimally mixed and not kneaded in the mixer.

Excellent Stand Mixer

This is an excellent stand mixer and a great improvement over my older one.
It makes break making simple and enjoyable. I especially like the deep red color of the machine.
