Great way to polish up your knives

A great additional set of rods for the Zwilling V-Edge sharpener that aren’t included in the set. These rods do a great job of polishing up the newly sharpened knife so that way it’s clean and free of little knife burrs that are created when putting on a new knife edge from the other sharpening rods. If you really want that out of box look, these are a great addition to your V-Edge sharpening use.

I am so relieved that Zwilling has made these replacement rods available. I absolutely love this sharpening system for all of my cutlery. I was fearful that I would break a rod or wear one out and not be able to get a replacement. Now I don't have to worry and more rods will be available with different grits for an even better experience and result. The V-sharpener does not include these F1000 grit rods in the set but these will be a great addition to get that factory finish and polish on your edges.

These replacement rods are so convenient for me because I love using the V-edge sharpener. The white color-coding makes it easy to keep straight which rods are F1000 grain. This will be the sweetness of a fully fine sharped knife after the coarse sharpening and honing, this will make that final statement of sharpness and smoothness. I'm glad I don't have to worry about having to buy the whole machine again in order to replace to this F1000 and besides this rod is not included with the V-edge sharpening set, so make sure to stockup in case I break one and such a excellent rod to keep them handy after the coarse. These rods are great for that high grain sharpening to leave your knives with a refined finish. I suggest having a small stock of these handy just in case. The rods themselves do a phenomenal job of sharpening your knives back to its factory edge.

These are replacement rods for the V Edge sharpener. The V sharpener is absolutely amazing. The first thing most people think to ask when they invest in a new knife is "how do I sharpen it when the time comes?". The V sharpener is the answer to that question. It is a fool proof at-home way to get professional sharpening results on both German and Japanese knives. It's nice to be able to order replacement rods in case the ones that come with the sharpener become misplaced or broken.

If you got lucky to get your hands on Zwilling's new V-sharpener, then you know how important these little rods are. It never hurts to stock up on these to have just in case you need to replace the original ones. At this low price, you can't go wrong and your future self will thank you!

These are an excellent add on to your V-edge sharpener. The grain of these rods is to polish and finish the with a shine. Great to have on hand.

The magic inside the V sharpener

The V edge sharpener is easy to use. The rods offer different grits, much like the coarseness of various whetstones. Each rod can be uses on all 4 sides which adds to their longevity. Simple change them as you go from repair to finishing to polishing. Since the rods are ceramic, they can break or over time wear out and need to be replaced, but each is easily replaceable.
