Honestly is a perfect thermostat for the a home in 2019 and beyond. The ability to adjust from anywhere is priceless.

There are so many cool features to this device especially when you pair it with a room sensor. It is completely customizable down to15 minute blocks. This helps with family leaving for work at difference times and needing a little heat for a specific time. Great energy saving investment.

Ease of Installation and Use

First time I've ever installed a Nest thermostat so was a little leary as most instructions that come with electronics are "somewhat" fuzzy (like maybe written by a tech from overseas?). However, instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow -- no issues with the simple installation, and using the Nest is extremely intuitive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My new Nest learning 3rd Generation thermostat

I have had the two Nest 3rd Generation Thermostats for three weeks now. One is upstairs in the hallway the 2nd one is downstairs in the family room.
It is a very stylish and easy to operate and control remotely thermostat.I enjoy is it's capabilities.. enjoy the way it learns your energy schedule and mimics it after only a few days..

This product was installed free by our power company. They can and they do control it. They have adjusted our temperatures on several occasions after issuing alerts. So be aware. My wife was not happy about that feature!
After the initial setup, we had to learn a few things about it but Nest was extremely patient and helpful with any questions. Very satisfied.

This is absolutely a must-have for anyone who has pets, wants to save $, and likes technology. With the rebate from our monopoly electric company in IL, it wasn't as costly. The install was a bit challenging for me because I am not very handy type of person, but I managed. It's been a few weeks that I've had it and I LOVE IT. It learns your patterns and then automatically adjusts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very easy to set up! Love how you can adjust thermostat from smart phone! If you leave home and forget to adjust thermostat, you can adjust it from your phone! Has an eco mode so saves energy too!
