Best thing ever

My husband and I purchased the Nest Learning thermostat in hopes of our gas bill being less expensive.. Well that’s exactly what happened, since installation our bill has been cut in HALF! We can monitor the daily temperature while we are at work and adjust if needed!! Thermostat also links up with our google home, so we can adjust settings without getting up or touching our phones!! We Love it!

Great Prooduct

My wife and I got to experience our first Nest Thermostat in our last apartment. We loved how easy it was to use as well as having control of our HVAC when we weren't at home. We knew we were going to purchase this for our house. It's so nice being able to control our HVAC as well as keep our bills lower than what they were with the previous thermostat in the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Thermostat Hands Down

I had these in my old house and loved them. When I moved, the new house had Honeywell thermostats. I tried to use them including the app but could not keep them. They were nowhere near as awesome as my Nests so I replaced them. So happy now. There is nothing like the Nest. Don’t waste your money on anything else.

Keeps going to an unscheduled temperature

I turned the schedule off. Set it at a temperature, later it will be set to a lower temperature. Every day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thermostat changes its temperature automatically due to some factors like, schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist which makes your thermostat go to ECO mode. To make sure that your thermostat won’t change its temperature automatically, make sure to do the following:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
- Turn off your Home/Assist
- Clearing the existing schedules and learned schedule by selecting Settings>Reset>Schedule and Reset again.

New and improved

This is my 4th stat, 1 1st gen, 1 2nd, 2 3rd gen. Each increment is more powerful in features and this was the easiest install! This was for a friend for prepping his house to go on the market at a very difficult time with COVID-19 battling real estate. It was part of an overall smart home upgrade to assist in the marketing of the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent interface, awesome brains

We replaced two existing programmable thermostats with the Nest devices. We brought in a Nest Pro to do the work, as our Heat Pump units used digital inputs with their own thermostats. In the end, we are extremely happy with the ease of use and the intelligence that the devices offer the heating/cooling. The app provides an excellent view of usage and ease of control. A++!

Because we’ve been mostly in a shoulder season between late summer and early autumn (in the mountains of Western North Carolina), the Nest hasn’t actually had to do much ‘controlling’ because neither AC nor heating has beec required. But… it has learnt our desired set points and today for the first time had to kick on the furnace. And, as I went upstairs for yhe night, it had adjusted to our nighttime setback temperature. I have also played with using the interweb to make set point changes, all successful. Now, we’re just waiting on our first trip so we can come home to a warm house!
I would recommend this to a friend!
