Exactly As Expected But Easier to Install

I had very high expectations having read reviews and owning other Nest products. This thermostat looks fantastic and is very easy to use. The pleasant surprise was how easy it was to install. I am the least handy person on the planet, and it only took me about 20 minutes. Directions within the app were fantastic, materials provided we're all I needed. Also, it arrived in two days, great stuff
I would recommend this to a friend!

It Couldn't Get Easier

Setup was quick and easy - I replaced an old manual thermostat. The Eco setting is very useful and gives me a new way to think about my energy useage. It also displays the daily weather when I walk by, which is pretty nifty. I'm curious as to how well it will learn my family's temperature settings over time. Overall, I'm gald I finally got this after a year of contemplating.

Helped Cut my heating bill 65%

You need this Smart Thermostat! It helped to cut my heating Bill by 65%. I upgraded my attic insulation from an R13 to R49. What a huge difference in the bill! I recently upgraded from Gen 2 to Gen 3 so I can take advantage of the room sensors. I haven’t installed those yet, but so far I am very happy with product! I have installed a new 96% high efficiency Furnace & still reaping benefits!

Nest Thermostat I

The nest thermostat was an excellent choice.. I don’t have to worry about the heat setting when the temperature fluctuates.. nest does the adjustment.. when it is very cold I can turn up the heat while I am on my way home... it learns my style and adjust temperature to. Keep me comfortable.. I love this thermostat... in addition, I am able to lock the settings..no more lock box on the wall.

Don't be afraid

This is easy, easy to set up. The instructions are easy to follow.
1. Turn off breaker
2. Remove old thermostat cover
3. Take note of the wiring color and before labeling them with included labels look at old thermostat where the wire is attached. Is red on R, is yellow wire on Y, etc. If the old thermostat worked then label the wires as they are on old thermostat regardless of color.
4. Swap it

Waste of money

One thermostat won’t recognize wireless network and other cannot integrate with app. Waste of money.
