Loving my Nest Thermostat

Got one for my birthday, just in time for winter. The goal was to save on electricity and propane especially in cases when no one might be home or when we're all sleeping. Works as expected. Installation was easy for my unit but did require an aftermarket common wire wall adapter or my heater wouldn't ignite and the battery would die. Cheap and easy fix. Overall, I love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest learning thermostat

Installation was very simple, however I have installed many thermostats but anyone with a bit of knowledge can do it.
Set up and programming was a breeze. Was very pleased to see that the weeks entire program can be viewed on one screen.
It's only been in for a day, but so far so good!

Easy Setup with Automatic Eco Friendly Settings

I setup the Nest in under an hour with the provided instructions (please read & follow precisely). I no longer worry about arriving home to uncomfortable temperatures when the weather is going from one extreme to another. I won't ever go back to a traditional thermostat.

instructions suck

dont expect to have the instructions help in any way...they are terrible and refer you to pages that no longer exist..or to call for help and there is no way to get a number much less speck to people....very poorly done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The installation is designed to be a DIY project but unfortunately is some situations depending on the wiring diagram and the HVAC system, some professional help may be needed.

Life is much easier now. Our sleepy lap dogs don’t need to be awake every time we need to lower or raise the temperature. Also keeps a history of your home habits. Easy to operate and pretty stylish.

Love options and flexibility

Love so many options and flexibility but for elderly that benefit also can be overwhelming. once installed correctly though, being able to use cell phone and Google home speaker to control is awesome. I'm a Google biased consumer but thier products have made life better and adding this one to our home was a no brainier. .... next to get is a Hello Doorbell

Best Thermostat I've Ever Owned

I've had the Nest Learning Thermostat installed almost two years now and I couldn't be happier with it. The installation couldn't have been easier. The instructions were very clear and the controls are intuitive. I'm saving money using it and I know it will pay for itself quickly.
