The Nest learning thermostat is more than well designed. It will exceed your expectations from the install, performance, app use and interaction.
I’ve installed them in my home and several rental properties and am extremely pleased with the abilities of the product.
If you have a need for a remote tempature sensor for the thermostat, it will solve your problem.
Highly recommended!

Great thermostat

I replaced a perfectly good thermostat with the Nest Learning Thermostat. The old one was very difficult to both see and adjust. The nest thermostat is simple to both adjust and to schedule/adjust schedule. It also is very easy to see. The nest app on the iPad makes it very easy to interact with the thermostat. Highly recommended.

I must say the unit itself looks very fancy. The whole aura of this beautiful machine just makes you feel like your house is becoming one of those fancy technological house that you see in movies. I really like to be able to control it from my phone with the App because if my little one gets her hand on it then I know that I can fix it before something goes drastically wrong.

Using your Nest Learning Thermostat, it can automatically switch to away mode when nobody is home to save you energy. This can be activated using your phone location, if there’s no activity inside your house, or manually changing it. If you haven’t already, we suggest you use your phone location to participate in Home/Away Assist. Here’s where to find it:
- Open the Nest app.
- Tap Settings .
- Select Home/Away Assist.
- Choose What decides if you’re home.
- Select Use phone location.
- Tap the switch to expand the menu. This will show a list of all the people with shared control of your Nest home.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team. We’d be more than happy to help you the best way possible. You can contact us here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
