We had a programmable thermostat before. It was confusing relative to programming it. The Nest thermostat is extremely easy to use in comparison.

Knowing is Saving

This thermostat is more accurate than the old types, easy to use and saves you money through knowledge of usage. Mobile App and Reporting are excellent. Oh and I can connect it to Alexa and Vivint alarm system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve never installed a thermostat before, but this was so easy. It looks great and works great. The pairing with my Google Home and setting up Routines was very easy and it works like a charm. The only issue that I had was that it was grabbing the wrong geographic location and time zone at first, but I found where to change that in the Nest app that I installed on my iPad. Highly recommend!

Few drawbacks

1) The application is very unintuitive when adding more than one thermostat. Basically you cannot add two thermostat to one home. When you do, the app is trying to connect to first thermostat, not the one you're adding. This is REALLY confusing.2) If the thermostat has lost power, it's not always coming back online. In my case, it took me a full reset of all settings for the thermostat to re-appear online. Without that, it was just showing "Low battery", it was disconnected from the network - even though I left it charging for couple hours after the power restoration.

Nest Learning Thermostat is a fantastic product to have at home. It's relatively easy to use. It's so cool & convenient when you can start your air conditioning or heating while on your way home via your phone. Just download the app.

Easy Install & Remote Management

This product was recommended to me by a friend. Unfortunately, when we tried to replace the Honeywell with Nest, it triggered the HVAC motherboard to shut off. I then had to bring in a professional to reset the HVAC. The install for NEST took all of 15 minutes, easy setup and connecting to mobile app and my internet and beautiful design. Now monitoring remotely. I love it!

I was having trouble getting it to work. I had to charge the device for 30 mins to give the battery power.
Then the wires needed to be switched around. The nest customer service helped with it all and i got it up and running with no problems.
