I like the ability to monitor a summer weekly rental property during times it is unoccupied. It is also convenient to adjust the heating/cooling so the cottage is comfortable for guests when they arrive. The property is 100 miles away but as close as my cellphone app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received my Nest thermostat when I purchased the Solar Panels. It was part of the upgrade via Entergy. It’s absolutely amazing. I have full control away from home. Never have to come home to a cold or hot home anymore. It’s awesome.

what did Google do?!

I used Nest for a number of years in the house I used to live in. I especially liked the Nest App and the control and programming it allowed. Now I've moved and had to "upgrade" to Googles Home App and nothing works. It shows that I have Nest thermostats installed in the house but doesn't allow me to access or control any of them. I also have 3 Google Mesh Network Repeaters which don't show up in the app at all and so are now useless. Why Google, when things are working just fine am I forced to "upgrade" to a less functional set of software rendering most of my investment useless?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your devices can be set up and controlled in one place.

Finally I have one

My son has one and I have always wanted to get one but just wasn't sure If I could set it up myself. I went to the online Nest site. Watched the video and seen how easy it was to assemble and install.
I checked to make sure my wiring was compatible.
I didn't buy one right away, I just asked around if anyone of my friends had one or knew anyone. A couple of friends had one and loved it and the others wish they had one.

It was Christmas and thought this would make me a great present to myself. As soon as I received it
I couldn't wait to put it up. Piece of cake to install and set up. Now my daughter is admiring it. Maybe for her birthday or next Christmas.

I absolutely love my nest.Sometimes I get hot at night and need to cool off, I just pick up my phone and can control the nest with ease. Love Love Love it. It is also user friendly if you are not a tech person.

Nest rocks!

I finally sprung for one of these during recent Black Friday sales which made it a bit more affordable. I now have 3 Nest cameras and this Nest Learning Thermostat in my connected home. The packaging products come in is really nice, the quality and appearance of the products are excellent, installation and connection to WiFi and Google Assistant is good and the performance/features are superb!
I would recommend this to a friend!
