Great product

Read the included instructions which were easy to understand and follow. Installation took about 15 mins. I'm not a professional but I do have other nest products so I was already familiar with the app. Highly recommend it.

I am now installing Nest #2 into my 2 floor family house. They are easy to install. The walk through that is provided in the app is seamless and extremely user friendly. (However, I did need a C wire (constant voltage) to install them both & you prob will too if you are upgrading from an old battery operated thermostat. But that is no fault of theirs... all smart thermostats seem to require it.

Easy setup

The Nest thermostat was easy to setup. It didn't seem to automatically start the air conditioner for an hour or so. Using the app, I switched between modes and it suddenly started working. Seems to have have working since.

Great product

I have three of these, and they are great. They are easy to install, easy to set up, easy to program, and they look really nice as well.
They work well with my Echo (Alexa).
If I want to raise or lower the temperature on any of the three thermostats I simply tell Alexa.
By using the Nest app I can check in, and make any temperature adjustments, if needed, when away from home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I originally purchased my Nest thermostat for my home to voice control with Alexa. However, there is so much more it can do and keeps my home the right temperature all the time. I ended up buying one for my second home now so I can monitor the temperature and humidity levels remote from the app. Love my Nests!

Higher cost equals the value

There are many options for "smart" thermostats. The interactive interface makes this one well above the rest. If you plan to have a fully function smart home this is the way to go. Very easy to use and setup. This model is worth the upgrade cost just feels that much smoother.
