Easy Upgrade

From time I took it out of box to til the time it was installed and the app was connected was less than 20 min. My dad was impressed with how easy it went in. Works exactly as expected. Just wish I knew how to lock it so my 2 year old doesn’t change the temp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set up, wish it were smarter

Installed the thermostats myself. Installation instructions and setup process was pretty straightforward. The average DIY should be able to install on typical HVAC system.Voice control and app to adjust temp are my favorite features. I added 3 temp sensors to each thermostat to set temp to the specific room we are using (so eight custom temp zones with the two thermostats). This is an added bonus to the voice and app controls. The "week or so of learning" seemed a bit much. Not sure why it doesn't come with a few "typical schedules" to choose from that you can then tweak to your liking. Something like "work from home, wake up at 6 am", "grade school kids, adults work at office, wake at 6, leave by 7, return at 3" and give the user the option to modify times.I'm sure Google has a lot of user info that they could use for this.One broke about six months after installing. Nest is sending a replacement...although it's been two weeks and it still has not arrived.

Great smart thermostat

We have upgraded to the nest thermostat and are enjoying its ease of use and set up.
Read many reviews and felt that they are accurate. Great product and love being able to monitor from my smart phone.
I bought 2 copper color thermostats.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very easy to setup

I own two, so I had a good experience to start with, needed something from my 91 year old Mom. She would call all the time, house too cold, too hot, she could not read the little numbers on her thermostat. I installed internet and bought her a nest learning thermostat. I locked down the range that she can adjust and I see it on my phone. And can adjust from anywhere.

Great product that learns your heating preferences during the cold winters of Wisconsin.

Pretty nice for the price

We have had the Nest for about 2 months and it has worked perfectly! A fantastic buy. I hooked it up to a 40 year old furnace with no problems (took me about 20 mins). The only complaint that I have is that it doesn't link to Alexa so its one more "smart" device that I have to manage seperately.
I would recommend this to a friend!
