Nest Learning Thermostat

Installed NEST learning thermostat two weeks ago. Love it. I also Installed a remote sensor in living room as that is where we occupy most of the time and hallway thermostat didn't do good job regulating there. Use the weekly schedule to keep our energy use mainly in the green, corresponding to PG
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally pleased, except

I am generally pleased with this thermostat, it is easy to use and looks nice. The only issue I have is with its “learning”. It will turn on based on recent use patterns. However, we don’t always need heat at those times. I have had to turn off the thermostat to keep it from turning on the heat when we don’t need it. And it does not learn fast enough to know to not turn the heat on. For now, all I need is a dumb device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You may need to check if your Nest Learning Thermostat's Auto-Schedule is turned on. You can check this setting in the app or on your thermostat:
In the app: On the Nest app home screen, select your thermostat and then Settings Nest and then Auto-Schedule.
On your thermostat: Go to Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule

Nest Learning Thermostat

I received my Nest Learning Thermostat for Father's Day and wad very excited to replace our original thermostat of almost 18 years. I had been thinking about getting one for a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to get one. It was incredibly easy to install and set up. I love being able to control it from my cell phone. I will definitely be looking into purchasing additional Nest products.

I have owned my Nest Thermostat for a couple of years now and I can't imagine life without it. From being able to set schedules to it automatically turning cooling/heating off when I am away, I use every feature of the Nest. I can easily control it with my Google Home or smartphone and I never even have to even touch the dial. Looks great on the wall too!

Purchased my NEST Learning Thermostat almost a year ago. One of the BEST investments ever!! I've had friends ask about how easy it is to operate. They are all THRILLED that I can control it from my phone.

Love the simplicity

Great product so far. We've had this for a few months now and it's already learned our schedule for how we'd prefer the temperature when we're home or away. It was EXTREMELY easy to set up and I recommend this to everyone who'd like to save money on their electricity bill.

This is my 2nd Nest the first was sold in our last house I loved it so much was the first thing I purchased after moving in our new home Very easy to setup. App works really well to love that I can turn on AC few hours before getting home instead of it running all day if your on the fence about one of these don't just go buy it the money you save from wasted energy is enough to pay for it
