Fantastic

Got our 2nd Nest installed today (1st was at our prior home). My husband has had a stroke and walking is difficult for him. Now he can manage the heating and cooling without walking across the house, getting out of bed, or coming inside if he forgets and goes outside. It looks sleek and works like a charm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very impressed with the quality of this unit as well as its ease of installation. We live 10 from our retirement home so it’s nice to monitor cooling and heating from a distance using the Nest App.

My Nest thermostat replaced another app-based home thermostat. It’s simple to set up and, for me, very nice looking. The old thermostat’s app failed about half the time I used it. The Nest’s app has not failed over the month I’ve had the thermostat. I found the scheduling feature particularly easy to set up. Setting the thermostat to a vacation setting is also simple.

Good product but could be better.

I loved the product. It does what is supposed to. My only complain, and that is the reason I gave this a 4 stars is that I turned my thermostat off, for two weeks and since I didn't have a common wire connected the device got disconnected and later it wouldn't charge anymore. I had to get a replacement, which Nest did a very good job, but I connected the common wire now so this won't happen again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great When It Works!

It is great when it works! This is my second replacement Nest thermostat since the original was installed in January 2019. Both failures of the thermostats were the inability to communicate with Wi-Fi.

The nest was purchased after purchasing a more expensive traditional style thermostat. The nest is easy and quick to install. All tools plate and instructions are great quality. The product itself is top notch and feels and uses like something twice the price. You can control the AC and Heat simultaneously (as apposed to switch from ac or heat). The app and settings are what you want. This is the thermostat to have and get for your home. The nest also appears to have some connections into Google security products for a fully connected system. I have not tried that part but it might be something I will look at in the future. This is the great product.
