I highly recommend the Nest thermostat. I own the 3rd generation. It looks amazing and it can be controlled from the Nest app and my Google Home.
It's nice being able to control the thermostat from my phone or with my voice.
You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Great Upgrade for any Home !

We received a Nest Thermostat along with a pre-order of the Nest Hello Video Doorbell (Will Receive in March) and a full Google Home setup with 3 Google Home Mini's a Google Home and a Chromecast as a family Christmas gift. The Thermostat works amazing with this setup and the fact that you can control it from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. The setup was very easy, turn off the breaker for the A/C Unit, Remove existing thermostat, run the cables through the provided plate, match up the correct cables as shown in the booklet that comes with the thermostat, mount it to the wall all nice and pretty with the flush mount plate, power back on the breaker and voila! Set it up on your WiFi and answer a few questions about your A/C System and you are up and running ! ! !

So easy to use. It learns your behaviors and sets the temperature appropriately. It works so much more efficiently than the older thermostat.

A Must Buy To Connect Your Home

So far we have been very pleased with the thermostat. It sets itself to the right temp before we go to bed. It knows when we are out of the house and goes into ECO mode. It knows when we are back at the house and sets itself to the right temp for our comfort. We can control it from pretty much any place inside or outside the house which is the main reason why we bought one.

Excellent Product

Purchased this to add to my array of smart devices in the home, from cameras to light switches my home is getting smarter by the day. Even though I had to add an external power supply, installation was a breeze. The nest thermostat allows me to control and keep track of my energy usage when I'm not at home which is wonderful. I will be purchasing an additional unit in the near future.

Excellent product

It literally took me about 20 min to install so I was very satisfied with that. The app is very useful if you want to control your thermostat away from home to hear or cool your house before you get home. I also really like the learning feature and the best part is I can control it with Alexa! I totally would recommend Nest to friends and family.
