Essential to our home

Installed a couple of these in my dad's house because he developed confusion (due to Alzheimers) about how to operate the old thermostats. The simple Nest display is easy for him to understand and he can now tell the difference between the current room temperature vs. the thermostat setting. And he's no longer confused about which thermostat controls the heat and which controls the A/C.

Still figuring it out

I was excited when I got my Nest learning thermostat couldn't wait to install it. I didn't have any problems taking down the old thermostat and putting the new one up. The only problem I had or having is learning how to set the settings, I'm still trying to figure that one out, but I will eventually get there, if not I will call somebody. And this is the only reason why I gave the rating of 4.

Easy to use and save money!

My family has two 3rd gen Nest thermostats in our 3 zone house. I will eventually get a third for the last zone. The ability to use Alexa to control the temperature is priceless. Makes life much easier with 2 kids under 4 running around. Both were easy to set up and get connected. Top notch craftsmanship too! We plan to buy several other Nest products!

Great Product

The Nest Learning Thermostat was very easy to install, especially after watching their video, and they even provide the screwdriver to do it. They walk you through the setup step by step so even this technically challenged grandmother was able to do it. I plan on buying several of the Nest Protect next.

Just installed the nest 3rd generation learning thermostat and really love it! It looks awesome on wall and seems to be working great! Would also highly recommend the Nest smoke/carbon monoxide detectors!

I have only had two thermostats in my house. The nest and the one that was in my house originally. The old one didn't work mostly because it was so difficult to program and so we never really did. We suffered through that one for 30 years.
One of my kids gave me the Nest and it was connected and set to "Learn" in about 20 minutes. With in a few days it had our habits down and programmed in. Have not done a thing with it since except enjoy it!

Effortless install and use

Not only does the nest look beautiful on my wall but it is so simple and functional and does exactly what it’s supposed to. We almost rarely have to adjust it because it knows our households schedule. Best thermostat period.
