So easy

We have had our thermostats for almost a year. I love being able to adjust the temperature from my cellphone. Both the app and the actual thermostat are super easy to use. The learning feature is really convenient. I like know that when I leave the house the temp is adjusted to account for no one being home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and reliable. I owned a similar Honeywell unit which only lasted two months. Tech support was poor at best.

Love my Nest

I bought a Nest Learning Thermostat because I saw it at a friend’s house and thought it was gorgeous! At first I didn’t even know what it was. My previous thermostat worked however it was not programmable by any digital device. My local Consumers Energy company offered a $100 rebate when I purchased the Nest so it made it quite affordable. My friend installed it, set it up for me and voila!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Energy Saver

I purchased the Nest Gen 3 thermostat in December of 2017. It was relatively easy to install, and I had it up and running in about 20 minutes -- including the installation and setup of the iPhone app. The Nest is my first programmable thermostat.
On a recent trip to visit relatives in another state, my wife and I were gone for five days. During this time (in the winter) I set the Nest to "Eco Mode" which allowed the temperature in our house to drop to 58 degrees, but not lower (the "not lower than" temperature is user adjustable).
While we were gone, our furnace needed to run only about 15-30 minutes a day (to maintain the 58 degrees), and one day didn't need to come on at all. Thus saving us a good deal of energy ($).
On our return trip, when we were about one hour away from our house, I used my iPhone Nest app to turn the Eco Mode off and by the time we arrived the house temperate was (our preset) 69 degrees.
Since we travel several times a year, this is a very handy energy-saving feature.
I also like the idea of being able to adjust the thermostat temperature up or down via my iPhone should we be "out and about" and the outside temperature turn cooler or warmer than forecast.

During the winter months, we like to sleep with the house temperature cooler at night, but like the temperature warmer in the mornings. My wife gets up earlier than do I. So, I set up a schedule on the Nest app to bring the house temperature up by 4 degrees about 20 minutes before she gets up. That way, she gets up to a warm house (which makes her pleased).

The Nest thermostat is a highly useful product and energy saver. I would highly recommend it, and eagerly purchase it again.

I received my new thermostat as a promotion through my electronic company as I was actually shopping to buy one. It was very easy and straight forward to install in my home. I haven't actually calculated my savings. But it's saving me money my wife says. I was the guy to leave my thermostat on "hold" at the temp I wanted all season. Now with nest it's always comfortable. I will forever be a nest customer now. Thank you.

Pulled the trigger on getting this thermostat and I’m glad I did. So easy to setup and use, looks amazing and of high quality. I would definitely buy another one if I were to install one again.

I have installed a Nest thermostat in three homes now. I love the easy install, but even more I love the flexibility of the product and the cost efficiency I experience. It’s unbelievably easy to set up and program. Also seems to make my system a bit more quiet, too.
