Nice device

Checking compatibility and installing without a pro was a bit confusing, but the Nest chat support was fast and helpful and I got the thermostat working. During the setup process, after install, it asked to test the system. I first tested the system head and I heard my outdoor AC unit turn on. That was confusing, but testing the auxiliary heat used my actual furnace, so I think that's right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm only a few days in and I already know that I love this product! My thermostat is still "learning" my schedule, but really like all the features so far. It looks nice on the wall, thanks to the included trim plate, the app is really cool and easy to use, and I'm certain my Nest is going to help me save on energy. Love it!

Easy to set up, easy to use with 2-stage heat pump

In the four months since installing our Nest thermostat, we have seen a notable decrease in the energy consumption in our home. We utilize the home/away feature and also have made adjustments to settings while away from home. Thermostat is easy to use and Nest app is easy to navigate and utilize as well.

We are very pleased with our decision to buy this to replace our old thermostat. This is very tech savvy with the ability to learn your schedule and save energy while saving us money. VERY easy to install. I simply took a pic of the wiring on the old and then matched the wires up to the new thermostat. It’s without reservation that we can highly recommend this product! The Hafers, Corning, NY

So fast, so easy

It took me less than 15 minutes from opening the box to having the Nest controlling my furnace/AC. I keep a very eco temp range anyway so I am not sure how much energy this is going to save me over the old programmable, but its early days, maybe it will.

A Perfect Upgrade!

I have 2 Nest Thermostats to replace my old Programmable ones (along with my HVAC!). I am so glad that I sprung for these guys, too. The contractors did install them for me, true, but I have learned to use them and I am very very happy with them! They are keeping my home nice and comfortable and just doing what I tell them to do. They even "learn" what I prefer! Amazing!
