Nest Thermostat!

I love my new nest thermostat. Can't imaging not having one. I can adjust temperature or turn the HVAC from anywhere. And the away feature can't beat it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for ease of use , convenience and energy saving to buy this.

PROS: Great product. Easy to install. Looks great. Easy to program. Lots of well thought out useful features.
CONS: Expensive. I wish the history feature stored the data for a longer time period.

Super quick and easy to install. Get your wiring diagram from Nest Support prior to install to save time. In less than an hour I was up and running including linking to my garage door.

Great thermostat and capabilities

Recently installed the Nest 3rd Gen thermostat. It has a high quality build with an easy to use app. It integrates very easily with our current Google Home products as well. The setup and connection to the Wifi was very easy and painless. The only difficult part is the wiring for the thermostat. I have a dual fuel heater, auxiliary heat, and a heat pump. This made the wiring setup difficult.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well. I especially like the "Away" function as it saves on heating and cooling.
Personally, I would prefer to just set my schedule. Changing settings is subjective based on my comfort level. The "learning" part clutters up my schedule by adding schedules where I don't want them. Then I have to go back and delete them.
Because of that, I've turned off the learning part.

Nice Thermostat

This Nest Thermostat was on my radar for 2 seasons before I purchased it as I tend to over research things before I buy them. I can say with all honesty that I have zero regrets in this purchase. Installation was a breeze as I don’t think it took no more than 15-20 minuets max. It looks good on my wall, but most of all I like that I can turn it on and off from my phone wherever I am. I set it to away/eco when I am gone, and when I am on my way home from work, I turn the eco off and turn my heat up remotely. By the time I get home, my house is comfortable. Also, when the kids are home, you can check to be sure they haven’t cranked up the heat or AC past the point necessary to be comfortable. If they have, just readjust the temperature yourself from your phone. I would recommend this thermostat to anyone interested in upgrading your heating and cooling capabilities.

Worth the Investment!

I bought a nest to save money and I surely have! My monthly electric bill was cut in half in just my first month! Definitely worth the investment!
