4 wire Nest needed to get with the times

Does not let you control Humidity from the Thermostat nor work with 4 wire and giving up a fan function is un expectable in 2021 Our early 2000s Thermostat did both and was only missing the wfi function
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Nest Learning Thermostat has Nest Sense settings, a combination of sensors and algorithms that help your thermostat learn about you and your home. Depending on your system type, you may not find all of the Nest Sense options. See the settings below related to humidity control:
Cool to Dry: When this is on, your thermostat can use your air conditioner or heat pump to help reduce excessive humidity in your home.
Airwave: Airwave is for systems with air conditioning. If you have this setting on, the thermostat automatically turns on Airwave when interior humidity falls below a certain level.

I must see that this thermostat is be far one of the best iv tried this year my home is only one years old and I have gone through three other thermostat first one that came with the home was super cheap and ugly second one was a half smart thermostat but offered no features then I bought one recommend by the power company that offered a rebate but the nest is by far the best.iv tried.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Negative one star. Never mention it anywhere the issues with the C wire. Constantly having to recharge battery. Should have been noted. Hate the product. Does not work as promised. Returning as soon as I have replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can imagine how frustrating it can be having to constantly recharge the battery and we understand your decision to return it. Though Nest thermostats would generally work without a common (C) wire, there are some systems that would require a C wire on the new Nest thermostat like a heat only or cool only systems. I am more than happy with my NEST Learning Thermostat! Not only was I able to complete the installation myself in under 30 minutes, but I can control it from anywhere! It knows when I come and go. Can't wait for my savings!!

The Nest thermostat is amazing! The thermostat has definitely made the home more efficient to cool and heat. It has been a major improvement over the last thermostat I had. I like how it learns our patterns and adjust accordingly. Great product all around!
